Well I guess it isn’t a secret that I’m somewhat a gamer, if you can call a person who plays tons of games with a shitty computer.. So now I wish to throw this wooden box into the trash can, where it belongs.. -.-
Could anyone tell me how big is the difference in performance for hi-spec games?..
Would the laptop be enough to run games like ”Assassins creed I, II”, ”Prototype” and ”Company of heroes” on low settings? … Without too much frame lag (+20fps at least)?
Portability is a serious problem for me -.-

WORMS In My Apartment… HELP Please!!!?

Over the past few weeks I have been seeing worms (mostly white 2 red) crawling all over my apartment,
on the ceiling floor etc. They only show up a maximum of 2 at a time.

THE Apartment is clean. I take the trash out every day. And I dont leave foodstuff lying around. So I have no Idea where these worms are coming from. Only thing is I have some old wooden furniture, thats quite soft and well .. old.

I bought some insectde spray and did the entire apartment with that, but they still keep showing up days after!!!

What the hell is going on? Can someone advise me here?

How much does it cost to replace a bedroom door frame?

I can’t seem to find anything on the internet, so can someone help me? Essentially, I live with a 17 year old with severe mental issues who breaks things when she can’t get her way, and she busted in my (solid wooden) bedroom door a few hours ago completely shattering the frame. I’m trying to figure out how much it would cost me to have it replaced and installed to determine if I should just buy a new one or take out a loan to get my own apartment elsewhere…I can’t live without the ability to lock my bedroom door because said 17 year old has an obsession with stealing everything people own that isn’t locked away, so without the door frame, I’m going to return from classes Monday to a completely trashed bedroom with all of my valuables either broken or missing.

It’s a complex situation that you all don’t really need to know, but yeah…how much would I need to pay in order to buy a new frame and get someone to install it for me? (unless I could install it myself which I’m not sure if that’s impossible.)
